Who likes email coupon marketing sites? Who doesn’t? In a new article in its ongoing series on Canadian social networking, ZINC Research offers a unique assessment of Groupon and Living Social, as viewed from the perspective of social networkers representing each of the ZINC survey’s five user segments.
Regular visitors to either of these two sites – two market leaders in the email coupon marketing space – will not be surprised by the predominantly positive ratings, but there are some interesting and unexpected findings as well. Even casual users, for example, who are typically the least likely people to engage in any type of e-commerce, gave the sites favourably.
